Outcomes Research
The focus of this section is to publish evidence from health outcomes research, including patient-reported outcomes and economic outcomes. The goal of the Outcomes Research Section is to advance our understanding of patient- and proxy-reported outcomes, including development, validation, and translations of new instruments; their practical use in clinical and epidemiological settings for screening and monitoring; and the economic and humanistic burden of illness. Chart reviews, secondary data analysis, and meta-analyses are all of interest. Articles in this section will discuss the implications of their results for clinical practice, improving healthcare, and additional evidence needed to fill gaps in our knowledge.
